                               RESOLUTION NO. 19053
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO MAKE
                   APPLICATION TO THE GOVERNOR'S PLANNING
                   OFFICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING THE "DRUG
                   FREE NEIGHBORHOOD" PROGRAM, WHICH PROGRAM
                   SHALL NOT EXCEED FORTY THOUSAND AND NO/100
                   DOLLARS ($40,000.00), TEN THOUSAND AND
                   NO/100 DOLLARS ($10,000.00) OF WHICH WILL BE
                   LOCAL FUNDS AND THE BALANCE WILL BE FEDERAL
                   FUNDS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to make application to the Governor's Planning Office for the
       purpose of funding the "Drug Free Neighborhood" Program, which
       program shall not exceed $40,000.00, $10,000.00 of which will be
       local funds and the balance will be federal funds.
